Felicity is a British actress that gained notoriety for her role as Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at the age of twelve years old. She has worked as an actor in numerous plays, television shows, and film. The first film she appeared in was The Treasure Seekers, a film on television. Then, in The Worst Witch (a television series) she was Ethel Hallow. The sequel Weirdsisters college also featured her. In her first film Flashbacks of a Fool she played Young Ruth and went on to be featured in numerous films. In The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she was a star for her role. She was nominated for an Oscar for the first time due to her character in the role of wife to Stephen Hawking's as a character in The Theory of Everything. The biopic was inspired by the life of physicist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was adored by both audiences and critics due to her flawless portrayal of Hawking's former wife. She was then seen in Inferno which was a horror film that starred Tom Hanks. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her extraordinary talent and work in film.
