Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik in Iceland. She is a CrossFit pro athlete. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she works with athletes. Annie is the only female to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic CrossFit weightlifter, media celebrity and CrossFit competitors - is an Icelandic CrossFit athlete from Iceland. Her fame stems from her being the first woman who won the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Also, she was credited with winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. At a young age Annie was a huge athlete and loved training. She took home numerous awards in school competitions. In 2009, she participated for the first time in a CrossFit match in California. The performance of her was good in those games. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years old (as of 2021). Her height is 5'7" and she weighs around about 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She did well on her very first event, finishing within the top 10. Unfortunately, she wasn't able achieve any title which was why she ended 11th in the final standings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen. Annie was second in CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. After an entire year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her debut CrossFit Games. Her dominant performance made her a winner of the title. Annie was again victorious at in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. The first female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. Also, in 2014 she took home a silver award and then in 2021 was the last time she took home the bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is an instructor and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie, who is currently a competitive athlete, appears in ads of sports-related products like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance sidekick Periodization Transparent Laboratory Transparent Labs among others. Additionally, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel with around thousand followers where her workout video clips, diet and travel videos are shared.
